E-Design Services

  • Virtual design consultation will be conducted via zoom. Photos and questionnaire must be submitted beforehand. This call happens after the contract has been signed. Every client gets an initial intro call, which is our first point of contact after the contact form is submitted.

  • Clients receive (1) comprehensive floor plan with furniture arrangement with detailed notes on arrangement.

  • (1) Design Concept/Mood Board is provided to show the vision for the space. Board will include images of all furniture, lighting and decor, including any paints, wallpaper, fabrics, window treatments, and flooring selected.

    **We will allow (1) revision. Any additional revisions will be subject to our hourly rate**.

  • (1) 3-D conceptual rendering per room is provided upon request, for an additional cost.

  • Paint and Finishes board is provided if applicable.

  • A detailed product list is provided with dimensions and direct links to purchase your items and design notes to implement your custom design at your own pace.

    **This service excludes selections of decorative accessories and product samples of any kind.**

E-design is a budget-friendly alternative to traditional interior design services, as the service is fully virtual.

E-Design is for the individual who:

  • Has the ability to communicate online through text, email, calls, or video chats.

  • Is willing to measure their space, take photos, shop, and arrange pieces, independently, with the guidance we provide.

What can I expect to pay for services?

Stellar Interiors charges a flat fee based on the scope of work. The fee is paid in (2) equal installments. Every project is different, so our design fees are estimated based on the time and resources required for each space. Our clients love the transparency and peace of mind the flat rate provides because it ensures there will be no surprise fees. You can expect to spend approximately $4500 for your primary areas such as living room, master suite, and dining room. For your secondary rooms like your guest suite or home office, you can expect to spend approximately $2500.

What types of design projects does your firm take on?

We offer both E-design and a full-service design. We require a two-room minimum for most of our full-service design projects. This allows us to offer a lower design fee because we’re able to maximize our time in your space. We manage your entire project from start to finish. From planning the layout of your room and furniture pieces, to sourcing and installing quality pieces in that space.

How can I be certain you can achieve my desired look or design style?

We begin each project by spending time getting to you, your style preferences, how you function in each space of your home, and your goal for your home. We utilize mood boards and 3D renderings to bring your design to life and get your approval before making any purchases.

How long does the average project take to complete? This varies based on the scope of each project.

A smaller project consisting of 2 rooms could take 6-12 months. A larger renovation project could take 12 months or more. Factors such as concept creation time, sourcing, ordering, furniture production, transport, shipping, installation, etc. all play a role in project completion time.

What is a realistic budget for furnishing my home?

This depends on several factors. I have created a detailed investment guide to assist in giving clients an idea of what various pieces may cost for different rooms.

Where will you purchase my furniture pieces, appliances, lighting, rugs, flooring, etc.?

Our firm has access to hundreds of “trade only” vendors that are not open to the public. We also work with manufacturers who can create bespoke or customized pieces to meet our client’s needs. We rarely shop retail for any pieces other than accessories. Our clients hire us to create spaces that are unique to them, this would be hard to achieve using limited retail options.

How soon should I hire you to get started?

We welcome your collaboration throughout the process. However, there is a certain level of trust that must be established for our creativity to be unhindered in achieving your desired look. Our number one goal is to deliver what you hired us to do, even if it pushes you out of your comfort zone. We’re confident that you will be overjoyed with the result.

The moment you start discussing or thinking about your renovations or redesign. It’s best to bring us in early before any costly mistakes are made. Most people think we start purchasing items immediately after we’re hired. The truth is it can take 6-8 weeks to nail down your design concept.

Do you welcome client collaboration or do you prefer clients to be less involved?

What happens if I want to move forward after the initial phone consultation?

We will schedule your (2-hour) in-home consultation, where we come to your home to walk through your space and discuss preliminary possibilities. We also use this time to get to know our clients a little better, share more about our process, and answer any questions the client may have.

Where can I see your past work?

You can visit the portfolio section on our website. We try to keep it up to date so clients can get a feel for our style as well as an idea of what to anticipate as their result. Unfortunately, we do not offer site visits to past clients’ homes due to privacy. Although it would be nice, I don’t think any client would be happy with us bringing strangers to parade through their home.
